Wayward Magic is a fast-paced fantasy-romance following the life of Eli Cinderfella. An average tavernkeep on the brink of turning 30, Eli believes he has his whole life figured out, but then he makes a wish after midnight on the winter solstice and everything falls apart.
His fairy godmother arrives with golden magic that eats holes in his father’s tavern and, when an impromptu wrestling match fails, Eli resorts to stopping the wayward wish by any means necessary.
Eli snaps the wand in half, but of course, a hero’s journey never ends so quickly and Eli watches those broken wand pieces absorb into his palms. Now equipped with rebellious magic in his veins that appears as pink glitter around him, Eli makes a deal with his fairy godmother to help him on a quest to put everything right.
Little do the two know that a forest-full of problems awaits them, including a Necromancer with mismatched eyes, a witch with nefarious plans, and a dragon made of graveyard bones. Eli Cindefella embarks on a life changing adventure full of danger, hope, and love in equal parts. If all goes well, he may lose his heart as well as his shoes.

First, we’ll be at A Seat At The Table Books in Elk Grove, California for our book launch and signing event on October 31 from 5:30-7:00pm. Costumes are definitely encouraged!
This will be a moderated event with two esteemed hosts to talk books, the writing process, and general magic shenanigans. Guests can expect two specialty drinks from the cafe inspired by Wayward Magic to sip while they listen.
This is expected to be a high-energy kickoff to this debut, it’s one you won’t want to miss.

November 5 Bloodstone Books

Our second stop will be at Bloodstone Books in Sacramento, California. An author favorite in Sacramento and a recently opened bookshop with the coolest crowd. Specializing in science fiction, fantasy, and horror reads, we are so excited to see Wayward Magic added to their collection and cannot wait to speak to more new readers. This will be a moderated event at 6pm on Wednesday, November 5.
